Lumory is built to hold your memories — not to harvest your data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Lumory app and this website process. The short version: none.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Lumory iOS application (the "App") and the Lumory pages on this website at stabe-software.com/lumory (the "Website"), together the "Service".

3. Our data principle

Lumory is built around one rule: your journal is yours. Neither the App nor the Website store, transmit, or track any personal data. There is no user account, no backend server that receives your data, no analytics, and no advertising. The App's privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.

4. The App: what stays on your device

Your journal entries — the color, sentence, tags, and streak data of each check-in — are stored locally on your device. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Photos you attach to a day are saved in the App's local storage on your device only.
Your name, if you choose to share it during onboarding, is used to personalize the App and never leaves your device.
Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. We never see when or whether you check in.
Weekly AI recaps and insights are generated entirely on-device using Apple Intelligence (on supported devices). Your journal content is never sent to any server — ours or Apple's — for this feature.
Journaling Suggestions: on supported devices, iOS can offer personal moments (like a walk or a meetup) as writing prompts. These suggestions are provided and processed by iOS on your device; we never receive them.
Backups are manual JSON exports that you create and store wherever you choose. They are under your control and never pass through our servers.
No account. Lumory requires no email address, login, or profile to use.
No analytics or crash reporting. The App does not integrate any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. No usage data leaves your device.

5. This website

The Lumory pages are part of stabe-software.com, a static marketing site. It uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking scripts of any kind — you're welcome to verify this yourself in your browser's network tab.

The site is served via Cloudflare's global network. As with any website, Cloudflare's servers technically process standard connection data (such as your IP address) purely to deliver the page to your browser. We do not receive, store, or analyze this data ourselves.

6. App Store subscriptions

Lumory Premium is billed through Apple via the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple may share limited, aggregated subscription status (such as whether a subscription is active) so the App can unlock Premium features. Apple's own privacy policy governs its handling of your purchase.

7. Children

Lumory is not directed at children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data from anyone, this applies equally regardless of age.

8. Your rights

Because we don't process personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our end — your journal lives on your device, where you can export or delete it at any time. If you believe otherwise, or have any data-protection question, contact us at lumory@stabe-software.com, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App or Website evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
